Wasted Optimism

We are back…. well, "back"

Pasted Optimism: 7/12/2010

Pasted Optimism is a place where we periodically post a collection of links, quick thoughts, and hopefully one day, a haiku.  Click here to view archive.

Memphis Commercial Appeal reporting that Tony Allen has agreed to a 3-year contract with the Memphis Grizzlies worth about $10 million. That is a million per “where the eff did that amazingness come from” dunk.

Add another 4-star recruit to the 2011 recruiting class. Plano (Texas) East safety Lyndell Johnson verbally committed to the Cowboys over the weekend despite offers from LSU, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Arkansas, Arizona, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU and Arizona….aka: schools with worse football programs than O-State.

O-State athletic department announces the release of a 3-game football ticket package. Before you get too excited (were you excited?), the package is for the Tulsa, A&M, and Baylor games.

For a good barf.. read this Trammel piece about the greatest generation of Sooners.

And lastly..Dave Sittler will not give up on this “Pickens is getting impatient and is going to start ripping balls off” angle.
